Appraisals
Doran Coins does free appraisals for private individuals of collections and estates. No collection is too large or small. Since the company does not operate a brick and mortar shop and as such is a home-based business, Doran Coins travels to residences, nursing homes, offices, and financial institutions. Your numismatic items are appraised based on current market values. All appraisals are held in the strictest confidence. Law Offices, Companies, and Auction Houses will be charged a hourly appraisal rate based on collection size and distance traveled. UPDATED 6/16/2021 - NOTE: Due to COVID-19 going around, if a home or office visit is needed, Doran Coins will take all appropriate measures to protect everyone during such visits. The owner only asks that all clients to please do the same. During home or office visits, unless fully vaccinated, clients are required to wear a mask and sanitize their hands. If you can't wear a mask due to certain health conditions, the owner will take that into consideration. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. The owner will be wearing a mask only if you're not vaccinated during the entire time of the appraisal. Please keep in mind that both your safety and health as well as the owner's is very important. If you are experiencing any symptoms of the coronavirus or under quarantine, please call immediately to cancel or reschedule the visit at a later date. Thank you.

As an Authorized Dealer/Submitter for Numismatic Guaranty Company (formerly Corporation) (NGC), Paper Money Guaranty (PMG), Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS), and Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC), Doran Coins can send your numismatic items for grading.
